Hello, we have hiked there many times in all the years we were on vacation in Mais and were always impressed by the hospitality and the delicious food. As soon as this Sch .. Corona is gone, we will serve again. Warn your granddaughter;)) We look forward to seeing you :)

The liver dumpling soup should be highlighted: the biggest dumpling I've ever been served so far! The food was good and cheap.

Probably the best trout in the Bavarian Forest can be found here. Have been coming for 27 years and haven't eaten anything better when it comes to trout. Also nice and friendly staff.

We went to eat at the inn tonight and it was excellent. The portions were very large, everything was super fresh and homemade and very tasty. Price performance is great, the service was very friendly and fast. I highly recommend this.

Nice location of the restaurant, which you can visit on a hike to the Sternknöckel. The restaurant has a large menu, including daily dishes. Ordered liver dumpling soup was plentiful and tasted good.

Great view of the Arber. Big portion. Dumplings for pork roast without warning are a bit unhealthy in the corner of Bavaria. Cyclists a bit thin. Sauce bad from the pack. Otherwise ok ....

I have to be very surprised about some bad reviews if you expect a 4 star food should go to such a restaurant and not in a restaurant where for small money and tasty food if you choose the right. In my opinion Cozy restaurant with good common food for a small price staff friendly and also my dogs were always welcome so nothing for dogs hater and the reviews about the allegedly unfriendly staff how was it with how it in the woods so switch it out
